An interview with a journalist...(dream)

I thought to write about a dream that I've seen on last-week
a journalist came to meet me to do an interview on myself for their magazine. here are the conversation that happened between us.

Hello sir. could you please tell me your full name?
Why should I tell you my name as you know my name?

Ok. tell me about your school
I didn't go to any school and I have attended to a college.

could you tell me your age?
of course. I'm 23 years old.

what did you do for sports when you schooling?
I've done running events, football and many other sports.

what are the running events you've involved in?
it's simply running when a dog barking on me.

how was the support that you got from your wife to be a successful person?
She agrees with everything what I say her to do and she tries to complete it on the level best of her.

It says both of you badly loves each other?
yeah.

But we know, your wife works as the MD at ASDF.co. Then how could she find free-time to help you?
I don't know a wife like that. Did I say I'm married?

If you didn't marry, how could there be a wife ?
Oh. you've got it wrong. My wife is my PC because she knows every secret of me and never tells those secrets to anyone.

මහගෙදර දෙන්න ඕන පිරිමි ළමයි ඉන්න කෙනෙකුටමද?

මේක කලින් "සමාජයට උවමනා නිසා කරදුන් කසාදය" ලිපියේ අයියාටම සම්බන්ධයි.

මේ අයියගේ දරුවා පිරිමි ළමයෙක්. ඒ කියන්නෙ පුතෙක්. ඉතින් මේ අයියාගෙ අයියලාට අක්කලාට හරිම සතුටුයි ඒ ගැන. ඒ මොකද දන්නවද? පරම්පරාව ගෙනියන්න කොල්ලෙක් ඉන්නවලු. මේ දරුව ඉපදෙන්න කලින් ඒ අයියගෙ ම අයියා කෙනෙක් "පරම්පරාවෙ ගෙදර කොල්ලෙකුට දෙන්න ඕන. පරම්පරාවෙ ගෙදර පිට යන්න දෙන්න හොඳ නෑ" කිය කියා ඒ අයියා හිටපු ගෙදර තමන්ගෙ පුතාට ලියවගන්න උත්සාහ කරා. තව දෙයක් කියන්න බැරිවුනා. මම මේ කතා කරන (කතාවේ කතානායක) අයියගෙ අයියා කෙනෙක්ට තමයි මහගෙදර මුලින්ම ලියලාදෙන්න හිටියෙ. නමුත් ඒ අයියාට හිටියෙ ගෑණුදරුවන්ම 3 දෙනෙක් නිසා පවුලෙ කට්ටිය එයාට ගෙදරින් අයින් වෙලා වෙනම ගෙදරක් හදාගන්න සිද්ද වෙන විදියට වැඩ කරා. ඊට පස්සෙ තමයි අපේ කතානායක අයියාව ඒ ගෙදර පදිංචි කරේ. ඊයේ පෙරේදා දවසක තමයි මට මේ දේ පැහැදිලි වුනේ.

ඉතින් අලුත්ම කතාවට එනවානම් දැන් මේ පවුලෙ අය සතුටින් ඉන්න බව කිව්වානෙ. ඒ පිරිමි දරුවා නිසා කියලාත් කිව්වනේ. මට ඉතින් ප්‍රශ්ණ ගොඩක් මතු වෙනවා

• හැම ගෙදරම පිරිමි ළමයි විතරක් ද හදන්න ඕනි.? එහෙම වුනොත් ලංකාවෙ ඉන්න කොල්ලන්ට කසාදබඳින්න කෙල්ලො ගේන්නෙ දකුණු ඉන්දියාවෙන්ද?
• ගෙවල් අයිති වෙන්න ඕන පිරිමි අයට විතරද?
• ගෑණු ළමයි කසාද බැන්දම තමන්ගෙ මහගෙදර ඉන්න බැරිද? (බින්න විවාහය කියලා එකක් O/L සමාජ අධ්‍යයනය/ඉතිහාසය ට ඉගෙන ගත්ත වගේ මතකයි)

පවුලෙ එකම දරුවා පිරිමි දරුවෙක් වෙන එකයි, පවුලෙ වැඩිමල් දරුවා පිරිමි දරුවෙක් වෙලා අනික් අය ගැහැණු දරුවන් වෙන එකයි දෙකම ඒ දරුවට හොඳ නෑ කියලා තමයි මම හිතන්නෙ..

• පවුලෙ එකම දරුවා පිරිමි දරුවෙක් වුනාම ඒ දරුවගෙ අම්මයි තාත්තයි ඒ දරුවව ගොඩක් ආරක්ෂා කරනවා. ඒ නිසා ම නිදහස ගොඩක් සීමා කරනවා.. ඉතින් ඒ ගෙදරින් බොහෝවිට බිහිවෙන්නෙ ගෑණුළමයෙක්ට වඩා ආරක්ෂා කරපු තනියම කිසිම දෙයක් කරන්න බැරි තරුණයෙක්. ඒ අතරම සමහර අවස්ථා වලදි තමන්ට ලැබෙන නිදහස උපරිමයෙන් පාවිච්චි කරන්න යොමු වෙනවා. එතනදි සමහරවිට ජීවිතය අනතුරේ දාගන්න/විනාශ කරගන්න වුනත් බැරි නෑ.

• පවුලෙ වැඩිමල් දරුවා පිරිමි දරුවෙක් වෙලා අනික් අය ගැහැණු දරුවන් වෙන එක කියන්නෙ පිරිමි දරුවා තමන්ගෙ ගෙදරම ආගන්තුකයෙක් වෙන එකයි. එනම් පවුලේ වැඩිමල් දරුවා ගෙදරින් ඈත් වෙනවා/පවුල කෙරෙහි බැඳීම නැති වෙනවා කියන එකයි. ඒක වෙන්නෙ කොහොමද කියනවා නම් අනික් සියලුම දරුවන් ගැහැණු දරුවන් වුනාම (මම මෙතනදි කතා කරන්නෙ අයියයි නංගියි කියන දේ මිසක් අක්කයි මල්ලි යි හරි අයියයි මල්ලියි කියන දේ නෙවෙයි) තාත්තායි අම්මයි දෙන්නාම ඒ ගෑණු දරුවා ගැන යොදන අවධානයෙන් 1% වත් පිරිමි දරුවා ගැන යොදන්නෙ නෑ. අවධානය යොදනවා කියන්නෙ මුදල් වියදම් කිරීම, අවශ්‍යතා ඉටුකිරීම පමණක්ම නොවෙයි. පිරිමි දරුවට තමන්ගෙ දෙමාපියන් සමඟ එකට සිටීමේ හැකියාව , ප්‍රශ්ණ විවෘතව කතා කිරීමේ හැකියාව නැති වෙනවා. දෙමව්පියන් තමන්ට ආදරය කරන බව දැනෙන් නෙ නැතිව යනවා. මොකද අයියයි දෙමාපියනුයි අතර නංගි ඉන්න නිසා. තවතු දෙයක්, නෑදෑයින් වුනත් ගෙදරට ආපුවම වැඩි කාලයක් ගතකරන්නෙ ගෑනුදරුවන් එක්කයි. දෙමාපියන් වුනත් හිතන්නෙ /කියන්නෙ "කොල්ලෙක් නෙ. දැන් ඉලන්දාරියෙක් නෙ" කියලායි.ඉතින් කොලුවා තමන්ටම සීමා වුනු (සංවෘත) ලෝකයක ජීවත් වෙන්න පටන් ගන්නවා.

මේකෙන් සිද්ද වෙන හොඳකුත් තියෙනවා. එනම් දරුවා තනිවම තමන්ගෙ කටයුතු කරගන්න පටන් ගන්නවා. නමුත් තමන්ගෙ දරුවා නිවස කෙරෙහි බැඳීම අඩුවීම පසුකාලයක දෙමව්පියන්ගෙම දෝෂදර්ශණයට ලක් වෙනවා. මේ බව කවුරුවත් කවදාවත් (දෙමව්පියන්) තේරුම් ගන්නෙ නැතිබව විශ්වාසයි.

ඉතින් මම කියාගෙන ආපු මහගෙදර පැවරීම කියන දේ ගත්තොත් "මහගෙදර පිරිමි ළමයෙකුටම දෙන්න ඕන" කියන දේ වෙනස් විය යුතු බව මම විශ්වාස කරනවා. මොකද පිරිමි දරුවන්ට (පවුලට බැඳීම අඩු) ගෙවල් ලියලා දීලා පරම්පරාව ගෙනියනවාද නැත්නම් දෙමව්පියන්ට ආදරෙන් සලකන කෙනෙකුට ගෙදර දීලා දෙමව්පියන් තමන්ගෙ අන්තිම කාලය සතුටින් ගත කරනවාද කියලා හිතන්න ඕන දෙව්පියන් මයි. ඒ ගැහැණු දරුවෙක්ද පිරිමි දරුවෙක්ද කියන දේ වැදගත් නෑ.


මේ දක්වපු සිදුවීම් වලට සමාජයේ ඕන තරම් උදාහරණ තියෙන අතරම මෙයින් අපගමනය වන අවස්ථා ද ඕනතරම් තියෙන බව මම දැකලා තියෙනවා.

I would like to wish a happy new year for all "Sri Lankans". this is not a "religious festival". this is a "cultural festival". so, no need to mention it as "Sinhala-Hidu" or say "we are not Sinhala or Hindu." WE ALL ARE SRILANKANS....(THERE COULD BE SOME DIFFERENT RELIGIONS, BUT WE ARE ONLY ONE NATION CALLED "SRILANKANS")

Now I got to know that some Asian countries also celebrates this festival. So, I'd like to  wish them too as " happy new year for all "Asians and the people who celebrates it"

සුබ අලුත් අවුරුද්දක් වේවා සැමටම ...!

" ඔබ සැමට සුබ අලුත් අවුරුද්දක් වේවා ... ! "යැයි පතමි මම.

මෙය ජාතික උත්සවයක් විනා සිංහල-හින්දු ජනතාවට පමණක් සීමා වූ උත්සවයක් නොවේ..(බලන්න සිංහල යැයි කී විට එම වදන අයත් වන්නේ කිනම් ආගමකට දැයි කියා.) එබැවින් මෙය ජාතික උත්සවයකි. ලංකාව තුල විවිධ ආගම් තිබුණද , විවිධ ආගම් අදහන ජනතාව ලංකාව තුල සිටියද අප රට තුල සිටිනුයේ එක් ජාතියකි. එනම් "ශ්‍රී ලාංකීය ජාතිය" යි.

බින්කු සහෝදරයා පැවසූ අන්දමට මෙම උත්සවය ලාංකික අප පමණක් නොව වෙනත් ආසියාතික රටවල් කීපයකින් ද සමරනු ලබයි. එබැවින් අප කෙසේද මෙම උත්සවයට ආගමික පදනමක් ලබා දෙනුයේ..?

නමුත් මෙයට ජාතික (ශ්‍රීලාංකීය) පදනමක් ලබා දිය හැක. ඒ විවිධ රටවල මෙම උත්සවය සමරනු ලබන්නේ විවිධ අන්දමට බැවිනි.

එබැවින් අද දිනයෙන් උදාවන නව වසර "සියලු පැතුම් ඉටු වන , සතුටින් පිරි සෞභාග්‍යමත් නව වසරක් වේවා..!" යැයි මම ප්‍රාර්ථනා කරමි...

සමාජයට උවමනා නිසා කරදුන් කසාදය....

මම මේ විදියෙ ලිපියක් මේ වගේ දවසක පළ කරන්න හිතාගෙන හිටියෙ නෑ. නමුත් ඊයේ මට ඇහුණු දෙයක් නිසා මේ සිද්දිය ලිපියක් ලෙස පල කරන්න හිතුණා..

මම දන්න අයියා කෙනෙක් ඉන්නවා වයස අවරුදු 34 විතර වෙන. ඒ අයියා තමයි එයාලගෙ පවුලෙ බාලයා (බඩපිස්සා). මේ අයියාට ස්ථිර රැකියාවක් නෑ. ඒ වුනාට මේසන් වැඩ, රියපැදවීම වගේ රැකියා ගොඩක් කරලා තියෙනවා. අවුල තමයි එකම රැකියාව එක දිගට කාලයක් කරන්න බැරිකම. ඒ වගේම අනාගතේ ගැන ස්ථිර අදහසක් නැතුව අද දවස ගැනවත් කිසිම අරමුණක් නැතිව ජීවත් වුනේ.
ඉතින් මේ පවුලෙ අනිත් අයියලා අක්කලා මේ අයියව හදන්න කියලා කසාදයක් කරලා දුන්නා. නමුත් මේ අයියා තමන් විවාහකයි කියලාවත් , ස්වාමිපුරුෂයකුගේ වගකීම් , යුතුකම් කියන්නෙ මොනවද කියලාවත් කිසිම තේරුමක් ඇති කෙනෙක් නෙවෙයි.  බිරිඳට දරුවා ලැබෙන්න ඉද්දි වුනත් ගෙදර තියෙන සියලුම වැඩ කටයුතු මේ අක්කාගෙන් බලාපොරොත්තු වුනා. සමහර දවස්වල ඉතාම කැත විදියට බැනලා , ගහලා පවා තිබුණා.

ඊයෙ පෙර්දා දවසක මේ අයියා තාත්තා කෙනෙක් වුනා. දැන් ඒ අයියාගේ අයියලා අක්කලා කතාවෙනවා "දැන්වත් මිනිහෙක් විදියට ජීවත් වෙන්න පටන් ගනීවි " කියලා.

මට නම් ඒක ඇහුනම හිතුනෙ "එහෙම වුනොත් හොඳයි. ඒත් එහෙම නොවුනොත්?.... " කියලායි.

සමහරවිට දරුවගේ කිරිසුවඳ දැනෙනකොට ඒ අයියා තමන්ගෙ බිරිඳට හා දරුවට ආදරය කරන්න පටන් ගනීවි. තමන්ගෙ පවුල ගැන, ඔවුන්ගේ පවුලේ, දරුවන් ගේ අනාගතය ගැන හිතලා කටයුතු  කරන්න පටන් ගනීවි. එහෙම නොවුනොත් පවුල් ජීවිතය එපා වේවි. එතකොට අමාරුවේ වැටෙන්නෙ කසාදය කරලා දුන්න අයියිලා අක්කලා නොවෙයි   තමන්ගේ දෙමව්පියන්ගේ රැකවරණයෙන් හැමෝගෙම ආශිර්වාදය මැද අර අයියාත්  එක්ක ජීවත්  වෙන්න ආපු අක්කායි එයාලගේ දරුවායි.


ඇයි මේ මිනිස්සුන්ට  තවත් මිනිහෙක්  අරමුණක් නැති විදියෙ  ජීවිතයක් ගත කරද්දි ඔහුගේ ජීවිතයට  අරමුණක් ලබා දෙන්න තවත් කෙනෙකුගේ ජීවිතය අවදානමට ලක් කරන්නෙ?

තවත් සිංහල හින්දු අලුත් අවුරුද්දක් ළඟ ළඟම එයි. අප අතීතයේදී (අතීතයේ කීවද එතරම් අතීතයේ නොව , මීට වසර 15 පමණ පෙර කාලය මම මෙහිදී සලකමි) එය සැමරූ ආකාරයට වඩා තරමක් වෙනස් ආකාරයකට දැන් එය සමරන්නෙමු. නෑදෑ හිතමිතුරන් මුණගැසී සුබපැතූ අප දැන් ඔවුන් ව මුණ නොගැසී සුබ පතන්නෙමු.
දුරකථනය මගින් සුබපැතීමට පටන් ගත් අප ජංගම දුරකථනය පැමිණීමත් සමඟම කෙටිපණිවුඩ මගින් සුබ පැතීමට පටන් ගතිමු. අනතුරුව අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා විද්යුත් ලිපි (email) යැවිමටද , සමාජජාල හරහා සුබ පැතීමටද පටන් ගතිමු. දැන් video calls ද ඊට එකතු වී ඇත.

මේ ආදී ලෙස .තාක්ෂණය යොදාගෙන වැඩිදෙනෙකුට සුබපැතීම මගින් "මිනිස් සබඳතා තරකරගැන්මට" මිනිසා සමත් වුවත් එම තාක්ෂණයම අපව "හුදෙකලා කර ඇති බව" මට සිතේ...

දේශපාලනය පිළිබඳව ලිපි ලිවීම හා කියවීම මා අකැමතිම දෙයක් වුවද අප්‍රේල් 8 වන දින මැතිවරණය පිළිබඳව යමක් කීමට සිත් විය. මෙවර මැතිවරණයේ විශේෂත්වයක් වන්නේ අපේක්ෂකයන් කීප දෙනෙකු හැරුණුවිට කිසිඳු අපේක්ෂකයකු තමන්ට ඡන්දය දෙන ලෙස වේදිකාවලදී නොකීමයි. බොහෝදෙනෙකු ප්‍රකාශ කරන ලද්දේ "මම දිනනවා" "අපි දිනනවා" යන වදන් ය. මෙය හරියට "හොඳින් ක්‍රීඩකයකු / විභාග අපේක්ෂකයකු මම දිනනවා/සමත් වනවා " යැයි කීමට සමාන කල හැකිද? අප ඡන්දය නොදුන්නොත් ඔබ දිනන්නේ කෙසේදැයි මට ඇත්තේ පැනයකි.

බුද්ධිමය දේපල පනත හා ලංකාවේ පරිගණක භාවිතය.

නමුත් මෙහිදී නීති පනවා එම වරද පිළිබඳව නීතිමය ක්‍රියාමාර්ග ගැනීම විනා එහි ප්‍රායෝගික බව පිළිබඳව සලකා බැලීමක් නීති පැනවීමේදී සිදු වී නැති බව මට සිතේ.
එනම් ආනයනික මෘදුකාංග ගෙන්වීමේදී ඒවා ඇමරිකාවේ හෝ ඒවා නිපදවු රටේ මිලටම ලංකාව තුලදී විකිණීමෙන් එය ප්‍රායෝගිකව මිලදී ගත හැක්කේ කාටදැයි සිතිය යුතු ය. ඇමරිකානු ඩොලර් 299 වන මෘදුකාංගයක් ලංකාව තුලදී ඒ අනුපාත මිලකට ලංකාවේ වෙළඳපොලට ඇතුලත් කිරීම අසාධාරණය. එනම් පාරිභෝගිකයාට දැරිය හැකි මිලකට ඒවා ලබා දීමේ වැඩපිලිවෙලක් සැකසීම රජයේ වගකීමයි.ලංකාවේ ඒකපුද්ගල ආදායම ඩොලර් 1500 පසු කළා යැයි උදම් ඇනුවද සත්‍ය තත්වය නම් එම පැරණි නිර්ණායක වල පවතින ආදායම් පිළිබද සීමා වැඩි දියුණු විය යුතු බවය. දැනට වසර 10කට පෙර $1500න් (වසරකට) කළ කිසිවක් කිරීමට ලෝකයේ කුමන රටක දී වත් නොහැක.

පරිගණකයක් මිලදී ගැනීමේදී අද අවම වශයෙන් රුපියල් 30,000 වත් වැය වේ. මෙම මුදල තරමක් හෝ අඩු වනුයේ අපරට දැන් ලෝකයේ පරිගණක කුණුගොඩ බවට පත් වී ඇති බැවින් පිටරට වලින් භාවිතයෙන් ඉවත් කරන ලද පරිගණක අඩු මුදලට අපරට තුලදී මිලට ගත හැකි නිසාය.. නමුත් එලෙස ගන්නා ලද පරිගණකයක මෘදුකාංග වුවද ලංකාව තුලදී භාවිතා කිරීමට නම් නැවත මුදල් ගෙවා බලපත්‍ර ලබා ගත යුතුවේ. ලංකාව ලෝකයේ පර්යේෂණ වෙළඳපොලක්ද? නැත්නම් ලෝකයේ කුණුගොඩ ද?

මම දැනට මාසයකට විතර කලින් UPS එකක් ගත්තා මීට කලින් තිබුණු UPS එක අවුරුදු 6 ක විතර සේවයකින් පස්සෙ ඉවත් කරන්න සිදු වුණු නිසා. එච්චර කාලයක් අපේ ගෙදරට එන විදියෙ අස්ථාවර විදුලි සැපයුමක්  එක්ක වැඩ කරා කියන්නෙ UPS එක තමන්ගේ කාර්යය හරියට ඉටු කළා කියන එකයි.

මම ඉතින් මගේ දෙවැනි UPS එක විදියට ගත්තේත් මුලින් තිබුණු වර්ගයේම එකක්. ඒත් අලුත් UPS එක ගැන නම් මට ඇත්තේ සතුටුදායක සිතුවිලි නෙවෙයි. මොකද UPS  එකකින් වෙන්න ඕන මූලික ම කාර්යය වන අඛණ්ඩ විදුලි සැපයුම නම් මගේ පරිගණකයට ලැබෙන්නෙ ඉතාම කලාතුරකින්..

අපේ නිවසට ලැබෙන විදුලි සැපයුම හිටිගමන් තත්පරයක කාලයක් තුල බිඳවැටී නැවත යථාතත්වයට පත් වන අවස්ථා වලදී මගේ පරිගණකය ක්‍රියාවිරහිත වන දේ දැන් සාමාන්‍ය දෙයක් බවට පත් වෙලා. කලින් UPS එක මේ ආකාරයට ක්‍රියාකළේ ඉතාම කලාතුරකින්.  විදුලි සැපයුම දෝෂ සහිත වන විට UPS එක හරහා පරිගණකයට ලැබෙන විදුලිය බිඳවැටෙනවානම් UPS පාවිච්චි කරන එකේ තේරුමක් නැතිබවයි මට හිතෙන්නේ.

නමුත් විදුලි බිඳවැටීම තත්පරයකට වඩා වැඩි කාලයක් තිබෙන විට නම් පරිගණකය කිසිම වෙලාවක ක්‍රියා විරහිත වෙන්නේ නෑ.

මම හිතන්නේ දැන් ලංකාවෙ වෙළඳපොලේ පවතින බොහොමයක් විදුලි උපකරණ තත්වයෙන් බාල බවයි. එක්කෝ වෙනත් රටවලට යවන්න නිපදවන ලද නිෂ්පාදනවල කිසියම් දෝෂයක් නිසා එම රටවල් වලින් ප්‍රතික්ෂේප වන විට එම නිෂ්පාදන ලංකාවට එවන බව හෝ ලංකාව වෙනුවෙන් වෙනම තත්වයෙන් බාල නිෂ්පාදන නිපදවන බව හෝ අලුත් විශේෂාංග ඇතුලත් නිෂ්පාදන සඳහා ලංකාව පර්යේෂණ වෙළඳපොලක් බවට පත් කර ඇති බවයි.


මේ කෙසේ වෙතත් ලංකාවේ පාරිභෝගිකයින් සුරැකීමට නම් නීති වලට වඩා පිටරටවලින ගෙන්වන නිෂ්පාදන වල තත්ව පාලනයක් / පිරික්සුමක් සිදු කළ යුතුයි....

නැතිනම් power tree යූපීඑස් එකට වුන දේ වෙනත් දේවල් වලටත් සිදුවන දිනය වැඩි ඈතක නැති බව මාගේ හැඟීමයි....

I found something new when I roaming in the internet. It's http://draft.blogger.com which helps to design more creative blogger templates than before as our wish.
I think if you are a blogger at blogger/blogspot (http://www.blogger.com) you could remember there was a limited number of templates to use inside blogger from the scratch. If we need to use another template, we had to find a good template and had to do many changes to use it under blogger/blogspot.

now blogger/blogspot gives us a new template designer by themselves. Try using http://draft.blogger.com url and crate your own template. If you are in doubt , simply log in to http://www.blogger.com and change "www" with the word "draft".
Then you will see a page saying " make blogger in draft my default Dashboard". It's your choice to decide your default dashboard. You can ignore it..

Then click on the "layout" link of your blog.
You'll see an additional link saying "template designer". Click on it and go to the page. You'll find many valuable features to change/edit your template. If you have done somthing wrong , there is a link to "reset" the edits to default. You could see a preview while you doing changes to the template. (template designer shows the place which we do our changes by highligting them at the "bottom" of the page.

Then click on the "view blog" to see how could you see the blog and click on the "APPLY TO BLOG" if you satisfy with your template.

අපි එදිනෙදා සමාජයේ ජීවත් වෙද්දි සිදුවන සමහර සිදුවීම් වලදි අපි යම් යම් තීරණ වලට එළඹෙනවා. ඒ තමන් දකින/සිතන ආකාරය අනුවයි.  නමුත් අපි කිසිම වෙලාවක තමන්ගේ රාමුවෙන් පිට සිතන්නේ නෑ  ඒ මොකද අපි හැමෝම යම් තරමකට ආත්මාර්ථකාමීයි, හිතුවක්කාරයි (මෙක මටත් පොදුයි). නමුත් අපට පුලුවන්නම් එම සීමාවෙන් පිටතට තමන්ගේ සිතුවිලි මෙහෙයවලා වෙනත් කෝණයකින් එම සිදුවීම් දිහා බලන්න , තමන්ගේ වගේම අන් අයගේ ජීවිත වලටත් යම්කිසි සහනයක් , උපකාරයක් වේවි ඒක.

මම අද බස් එකකදි අහපු දෙයක් මේ ලිපියට හේතු වුනා. බස් එකක බස් නැවතුම් පොලවල් 2,3 ක් අතර ගමන් ගන්න බස් එකට නැගපු කෙනෙකුට බස් එකේ කොන්දොස්තර කීවා වාඩිවෙන්න එපා කියලා. බස් එකේ ආසන වල ඉඩ තියෙනවා නම් වාඩි වුනාම මොකද වෙන්නෙ? ඒ වගේම හිටගෙන යන්න බැරිකමක් තියෙනවද දන්නෙත් නෑ නෙ.  නමුත් බස්රථ වල කොනදොස්තරලා බොහෝ දෙනෙක් බලන්නෙ තමන්ට ලැබෙන මුදල දිහා විතරයි.

මුදල් හොයන්නෙ ජීවත් වෙන්නද? ජීවත් වෙන්නෙ මුදල් හොයන්නද?

අපි ගොඩක් අයගෙ ජීවිත වල සතුට හා අර්ථය රැඳී තියෙන්නෙ මේ ප්‍රශ්ණයට තමන් දෙන පිළිතුර මත කියලයි මම හිතන්නෙ. වර්තමාන සමාජ ක්‍රමය තුල ජීවත් වන අපට මුදල් කියන්නෙ වැදගත් දෙයක්. ඒ නිසාම තමයි හැමදෙනාම වගේ මුදල් හොයන්න හැකිතරම් වෙහෙස වෙන්නෙ. සමහරු හිතන් ඉන්නෙ මුදල් මත තමයි ජීවිතේ සියලුම දේ රැඳී තියෙන්නෙ කියලයි. ඒ නිසා දිවා රෑ නොබලා මුදල් හොයන් න වෙහෙස වෙනවා. ඒත් මුදල් අතට ලැබීමත් එක්ක සතුටු වෙන්නෙ, එම මුදල් ප්‍රයෝජනවත් කාර්යයකට යොදවන්නෙ කීයෙන් කී දෙනා ද?

සමහරු තමන්ට ලැබුණු මුදල තව තවත් වැඩි කර ගන්න උත්සාහ කරන්නෙ තමන්ගේ අවශ්‍යතාවන් සපුරා ගැනීමටවත් වියදම් නොකර. ඒ අය හිතනවා ඇත්තෙ මුදල් තියෙන්නෙ එකතු කරන්න මිසක් වියදම් කරන්න නොවෙයි කියලයි. ඉතින් කවදාද ඔවුන්ගේ ජීවිත වලට සතුට ලැබෙන්නෙ? තමන්ගෙ ජීවිතය සාර්ථක කර ගන්න යොදා ගන්න පුලුවන් දෙයක් එසේ නොකර තබා ගැනීමෙන් ජීවිතයට සතුට ලැබෙනවාද? හදිසියකදි වියදම් කරන්න මුදල් අවශ්‍ය බව ඇත්ත . නමුත් මම නම් හිතන්නෙ තමන් උපයන මුදලින් කිසියම් කොටසක් අනාගතය වෙනුවෙන් ඉතිරි කරලා ඉතිරි කොටස තමන්ගෙ එදිනෙදා කටයුතු වලට යොදාගන්නන ඕනි කියලායි. එසේ නොකර මුදල් පොදිබැඳීමෙන් ජීවිතය අසහනයෙන් පිරී යෑමක් ඇර කිසිවක් සිදුනොවෙන බවයි මගේ හැඟීම.

මම දකින විදියට ඔවුන් "මුදල් හොයන්න ජීවත් වෙන" අයයි. ඒ සඳහා සමහරු තමන්ගේ උත්සාහය පාවිච්චි කරලා සාධාරණ ආකාරයට මුදල් උපයන අතරම සමහරු අසාධාරණ (බොරුව වැනි) ක්‍රම යොදා ගන්නවා.

Effectiveness relates the input or the output to the final objectives to be achieved (the outcome)

In management, effectiveness relates to getting the right things done. Peter Drucker reminds us that effectiveness is an important discipline which “can be learned and must be earned.”

The effectiveness is more difficult to assess than efficiency, since the outcome is influenced political choice. The effectiveness shows the success of the resources used in achieving the objectives set.

Example:
When deploying a transport service, efficiency and effectiveness both comes together to complete the task successfully. In this scenario, effectiveness could be identified by "buying/hiring" vehicles. It means the management should understand the use of the vehicles before buy/hire them. If the management buy wrong type of vehicles to use them for transport service, will lead to bankrupt because some vehicles will not meet the requirements well and will not provide the service which has expected. Some vehicles will not enough for passengers and will make to hire more vehicles. Then it will lead to increase the staff and will make more expenses (vehicle expenses/ salaries to the staff)
Then shall we talk about the efficiency. If the transport service provide the services at unneeded times that less number of passengers using the service, the service will not make profits. So, using a timetable is a must when thinking about the efficiency. It means "doing things right".

2. Which is more important for performance? and Can managers improve both simultaneously?

Efficiency and effectiveness both comes together because both of them are connected to each other. We can't think about the effectiveness without efficiency and we can't think about the efficiency without effectiveness.

Efficiency alone will put the company on the fast track to bankrupt .

Effectiveness (efficacy) alone *may * allow the company to survive. How ever the company will not reach it's maximum potential if it is inefficient.

• there is a right goal, but less/poor usage of resources. (leads to expansive result)

• High Efficiency / Low Effectiveness
• Inappropriate goals but right usage of resources. (leads to deliver unwanted products at lower price)

• Works on a wrong target and less/poor usage of resources. (leads to deliver expensive, unwanted products)

• High Efficiency /High Effectiveness
• Works on a Right goal using right resources in a right way. (delivers good/useful products at affordable price)

So, effectiveness & efficiency relates to each other by connecting inputs, outputs and outcomes.

Needless codes will make the codes unreadable and hard to understand. It will make hard to find the errors when any error has occur. Needless codes will add “lines of code” to the project and will support to earn more money to the developer. But when he/she needs to troubleshoot, needless codes will make hard to find the errors. Sometimes the needless codes will make some critical/hard to identify errors.

Planning the development process/life-cycle helps to determine every part of the development according to a structured plan. Then developer will not forget to do something important on his/her development process.

It's better if the program could support to the files/data which used in older/other programs. It will help to save the time to enter data into the new program because if there is an older program, user could use the data which associated with that old program inside the new program.

ගුගල් ලංකාව තුලදි block කරන්න යනවා කියන්නෙ ඇත්තක්ද?

මට අද මගේ මිතුරකුගෙන් ලැබුණ පණිවුඩයක තිබුණු ලිපිනය (url) ට අදාල ලිපිය  දැක්කම මට මගේ ඇස් දෙක අදහාගන්න බැරි වුණා. ඒ වෙබ් පිටුවෙ දැක්වුණු විදියට අපි අන්තර්ජාලයේදී මූණු පොතටත් වඩා රඳාපවතින වෙබ් අඩවිය www.google.com ලංකාව තුලදී භාවිතා කරන්න ඇති හැකියාව නවතන්න සූදානම්ලු.( මම මූණුපොතට වඩා ගුගල් මත රඳා පවතිනවා..)

මගේ හැඟීම නම් එය සැබෑවක් වනවා යනු ලංකාවේ විශාල පිරිසක් මහත් අපහසුතාවකට ලක්වනවා නිසැකයි. මට නම්  ගුගල් නැතිව අන්තර්ජාලය භාවිතා කරනවාට වඩා හොඳයි අන්තර්ජාලය භාවිතා නොකර ඉන්න එක කියලා හිතෙනවා.

Pros and Cons of the HTML

this is an another post of mine for our LMS-forum...

HTML stands for "Hyper Text Markup Language" and it's widely spread all around the web.

there are many advantages of HTML and I think there aren't too many disadvantages.

Advantages

• We can use HTML mixed with scripting languages like JavaScript.
• HTML is easier to learn (for me)
• HTML could be read using many programs like email clients, web browsers and many.
• Runs on the client side. So, we could view the source using a web-browser.
• Universal, versatile and free to use.
• Supports to multiple platforms. ( doesn't matter if that HTML page was created using a Windows PC or a MAC, that page runs well on Linux as well.)
• Could be read using even a text mode web-browser.
• Easy to read by the Search Engines.
• Many scripting languages like php needed to use HTML. (when creating forms using php we couldn't do it using just php and HTML helps to the scene to make easier the creation of the form)
• No need to install anything in to the client PC although it runs in the client side.
• Lightweight. (html pages are consists from texts and because of that reason the pages are very small in size)so it's easy to upload and download. (in to the server and from the server)

Disadvantages ( I think there aren't too many disadvantages of HTML)

• HTML is far behind than other languages because it's "Static" language.
• Couldn't used for Database connectivity.
• Couldn't create Dynamic pages using just HTML only. need to mix some other scripting languages with it to create dynamic pages.
• Lack of security. But it doesn't matter because other scripting languages help it and never used (HTML only) for any secure web pages.
• need to create several pages when distributing. It means there will be several/many files. (we could distribute as one file for everything when using a programming language)

How networking helps to a bank ...

this is an another post of mine for our LMS forum...

Banking System needs a very good network with its every branch. If not, customers couldn't deposit or withdraw money from everywhere in the island and they will have to go to the branch that they opened their accounts when they needs to deposit or withdraw money. because every branch is connected to each other, customers wouldn't face to any difficult when banking for their needs and they can do their banking needs at any branch in the island. It means , if anyone borrowed any loan from any branch, he or she could pay it using any branch of the bank. If there's a bank without the network, customers never come to that bank to do their banking needs, because if any customer done any banking with any branch, he or she should come to that particular branch to do the rest of their banking. It makes the customer unhappy. Keeping the customer happy and making their works too easy , attracts more customers to the business. Networking helps to ease the management of the bank by a central location. If there is a natural disaster or something occurred and if any branch becomes faulty and out-of-service, customers could use another branch to do their banking needs. So, networking is essential to the banking system in Sri-Lanka.

ජීමේල් වලදි to තීරුව වෙනුවට bcc තීරුව default කරන විදියක් දන්නවාද?

මම අනික් අයට කියන්නෙ එක්කෙනෙකුට වඩා එකම ඊමේල් එක යවනවානම් bcc තීරුවට ඊමේල් ලිපින දමන්න කියලායි. නමුත් මටත් අද අමතක වුනා bcc තීරුව. මේල් එක යවලා ටික වෙලාවකට පස්සෙ මතක් වුනා ලිපින කාණ්ඩයක් (address group) ම  to තීරුවට දාලා නේද මේල් එක යැව්වෙ කියලා. අනේ ඉතිං මමත් කරපු දෙයක් කියලා මට හිතුනා. මම හිතන්නෙ  ඊමේල් එක ලැබුණු අය ඒක දකින් නැති වෙයි. ඒත් ඉතින් අත්සන(signature) විදියට මම යවන හැම   ඊමේල් එකකම වගේ යොදනවා ගොඩක් අයට එකම  ඊමේල් එක යවද්දි  to තීරුව වෙනුවට bcc තීරුව පාවිච්චි කරන්න කියලා.  දැන් ඉතින් මොනවා කරන්නද?

The future computer in 10 years of time

Imagine that you need to order a computer in 10 years time for your personal use. What type of a computer would you expect to have by then. If you see it different from the current PCs, just indicate why you foresee such a change.

I think the computers in 10 years of time will be very different than now. People will think about the protection of their data and availability of data. So, people will prefer to use “on line storage” than storing the files on a Hard disk drive. So, no need to use hard disks with high memory capacity. So, manufacturers will make computers without a hard disk. Most of the time, computer will be having only a “web browser” and all the softwares will be installed in the Internet. (currently google tries to do so and “Chrome-OS” will be play more role on it) Then no need to pay for the operating system and softwares because a flat rate of subscription will provide every software needs. What it means is the Internet will be essential to day to day life. So, ever computer will be having inbuilt “High speed data devices” to access to the Internet.

As a result of people live in a very busy, and communication world, people will use “Laptop” computers than now. It will help them to live their mobile life very easily. Manufacturers will make more powerful laptop computers with low weight to easily carry everywhere. “Nuclear cell” batteries will be provide more accurate electricity/current for a long time.

Now, it's not a fiction a computer without a keyboard because Apple Inc has announced a model of a computer without a keyboard. User could type using an “on-screen keyboard” from the movement of his/her eyes. Then no need to type by hand. Then the computer will only be a Screen. By 10 years time, the computer monitor will be a thin paper which could keep inside the pocket.

Artificial intelligence is the main idea of the 5th generation computers. By 10 years of time people will be able to use computer by Voice. Then no need to type anymore and people who blind could use a computer without any difficulties. People could spend their time by talking with the computer when they are lonely. Computer will be provide advices to the user when needed.

ඉල්ලාගෙන ස්පෑම් ගැනීම.

මම හොඳට දැකපු දෙයක් තමයි අපේ සමහරු තමන්ගෙ ඊමේල් ගිණුමට  ස්පෑම් ඊමේල්  ගෙන්වා ගන්නෙ ඉල්ලලාමයි කියලා. මේ සඳහා හේතු වන ක්‍රම දෙකක් පිළිබඳව මම ප්‍රකාශ කලත් තවත් ක්‍රම රැසක් තිබෙනවා.

ඊමේල් forward කිරීම.
ගොඩක්දෙනා ලස්සන පින්තූර එකතු කරන්න හරිම කැමතියි. ඒ වගේම තමන්කැමති පින්තුර වලට අනිත් අයත් කැමති ඇති කියලා හිතලා තමන් දන්න අයටත් ඒ ඊමේල් එක යවනවා. මෙතනදි තමයි කට්ටිය බෙදාහදාගෙන ඉල්ලාගෙන කන්නෙ . සාමාන්‍යයෙන් අපි යවන  ඊමේල් එකක ලබන්නාගෙ ලිපිනය දාන්නෙ "to"  තීරුවටයි.  මෙතනදි අපිට ලිපින කීපයක් ලබාදෙන්නත් පුලුවනි. නමුත් එලෙස ලිපින කීපයක් ලබාදුන් විට අප යැවූ ලිපිය ලබන හැමෝටම අපවිසින් ලිපිය යැවූ හැම දෙනාගෙම ඊමේල් ලිපින දැකබලාගන්න පුලුවනි. එසේ වන්නේ අපි "to" තීරුවට දමන ලිපින සියල්ලම ලිපිය තුල පෙන්වන නිසායි. දැන් ඉතින් අපි 10 දෙනෙකුට ඊමේල් එකක් යැවුවානම් ඒ 10 දෙනාටම  දෙනාගේම ලිපින  පෙන්වනවා. ඉතින් ඒකෙ ඇති  අවුලක් නෑනෙ කියලා සමහරු හිතයි.  අපි හිතමු  ලිපිය  ලැබුණු  10 දෙනාගෙන්  එක් අයෙක්වත්   කලින්  විදියටම ලිපිය තවත් අයට යවනවා කියලා. ඔය විදියටම දිගින් දිගටම එකම ලිපිය forward වෙවී යද්දි ලිපිය ලබපු  හැම දෙනාගෙම  ලිපින එම  ලිපිය තුල අන්තර්ගත වෙන නිසා අන්තිමට ලිපිය ලබන කෙනෙකුට ලිපිය ආරම්භයේ සිටම ලැබුණු අයගේ ලිපින සියල්ලම දකින්න පුලුවනි.  ඒ එක්  අයෙක් ඊමේල් හරහා වෙළඳාම් කරන කෙනෙක් වුනොත් හරිම සතුටු  වේවි. මොකද ඊමේල් ලිපින ගොඩක් ලැබෙන නිසා.(මට එක් වරක් ලැබුණු ඊමේල් ලිපියක අන්තර්ගතවුනේ 300x300 ප්‍රමාණයේ ඡායාරූපයක්. ඒකෙ තිබුන ලිපින ගණන්කරලා බැලුවාම ලිපින සංඛ්‍යාව 351යි.) ඒවගේ ලිපියක් ඊමේල් හරහා වෙළඳාම් කරන කෙනෙකුට ලැබුණාම ලැබුණ ලිපින  සියල්ලටම අනවශ්‍ය  ඊමේල් ලැබෙන්න පටන් ගන්නවා.

අනවශ්‍ය වෙබ් අඩවි වල ලියාපදිංචි වීම හා  ඊමේල් ගිණුමේ  මුරපදය අනවශ්‍ය වෙබ් අඩවි වලට ලබා දීම.

ඉතින් මේක නවත්තන්න නම් කරන්න තියෙන්නෙ අනවශ්‍ය වෙබ් අඩවි වල ලියාපදිංචි  නොවීමයි.( ලියාපදිංචි වීමට තදබල උවමනාවක් තිබෙනවා නම් ලියාපදිංචි  වූවාට  කම්නැත.) නමුත්   ලියාපදිංචි  වන කිසිඳු අඩවියකට  තමන්ගෙ ඊමේල් ගිණුමෙ මුරපදය ලබා නොදීමට වගබලා ගන්නා ලෙස ඉල්ලා සිටිමි. එසේ නොමැති නම් වෙබ් අඩවි වල ලියාපදිංචි  වීමට වෙනම ඊමේල්  ගිණුමක් නිර්මාණය කර තබා ගැනීමෙන් හිතමිතුරන් ස්පෑම් කරදරයෙන්  බේරා ගත හැක.

1. ඔබේ ජංගම දුරකථනය තුල operaMINI web-browser එක පිහිටුවා ගන්න. මෙය opera වෙබ් අඩවියෙන් නොමිලේ බාගත කරගත හැක.
2. operaMINI web-browser එක ක්රියාත්මක කර එහි "වෙබ් ලිපිනය (URL)" යොදන ස්ථානය (address bar) තුල about:config ලෙස සටහන් කර එවිට පෙන්වන වෙබ් පිටුවට යන්න.
   
3. පහලින්ම ඇති "Use bitmap fonts for complex scripts" යන්න ට අදාල drop-down-list එකෙහි "no" වෙනුවට "yes" යොදා සුරක්ෂිත (save) කරන්න.
4. මෙවිට එම වෙබ් පිටුව reload වනු ඇති අතර ඉන්පසුව ඔබ සිංහල බසින් ලියැවුණු වෙබ් පිටු කියවීමේදී සිංහල අකුරු දිස්වේ.
