count the balance after you pay

we entered in to a hotel nearby mathale town at the evening for a refreshment last month when travelling via that town. After we having our refreshment the bill was 680 rupees. I handed over 1000 rupee note to the waiter and I needed to get the balance quickly because we are getting too late there. So I went to the counter and got my balance. I got 220 rupees of balance instead of 320 rupees and the waiter asked "is that balance is okay".

I was shocked and tried to figure out the balance when deducting 680 from 1000. I'm sure I should get 320 rupees instead of 220 rupees and I complained it to that waiter. He went to the counter and gave me another 100 rupee note as the balance. but the waiter and the cashier didn't talked to each other. So I thought they have done the thing by planning. so, I shouted at the waiter because they given me some wrong amount of balance and trying to rob some money.

I think they do that thing to other people as wel. so, please be patient and count on your balance when you buy or pay for something at  any outlet. Some of my friends told me most of the time the cashiers do such mistakes at "bentota bake house- outlets". that robbed money goes to their pocket, not to the company drawer.

why people fall in love?

people fall in love because they need to find the lost part of their life to succeed their life.life will be unsuccessful and unhappy without that part. it bring them the happiness and the sadness as well. but, love will help them to defeat the every obstacle in their life.

people fall in love with someone because they can't love everyone in the world because they feel that they are comfortable with the person who loves to, than they are with others who doesn't love to+helps to defeat every obstacle in life with the COURAGE that it gives.. (love helps to forget every sorrow of the life.)

this is the hardest question in life because fall in love doesn't depends on the beauty, wealth or anything that the other person has.

I would like to wish a happy new year for all "Sri Lankans". this is not a "religious festival". this is a "cultural festival". so, no need to mention it as "Sinhala-Hidu" or say "we are not Sinhala or Hindu." WE ALL ARE SRILANKANS....(THERE COULD BE SOME DIFFERENT RELIGIONS, BUT WE ARE ONLY ONE NATION CALLED "SRILANKANS")

Now I got to know that some Asian countries also celebrates this festival. So, I'd like to  wish them too as " happy new year for all "Asians and the people who celebrates it"

Don't you like to get free outgoing calls from SLT-Mobitel(+9471) to Dialog(+9477) at Sri Lanka.

Last saturday I found a uncommon thing when I make a call to a friend of mine. I'll explain how it happened.

I made a call to a friend of mine while waiting for a bus with another friend of mine. Me and the friend who with me at the bus stop talked about formatting a computer while ringing the phone. When he answer the phone I didn't tell anything about formatting a computer and I asked him to meet me at bus stop. After meeting the second friend, he asked whose computer we are hoping to format.

I asked how did he know about formatting the PC and he replied before he answer the phone, he heard what we talked with each other. Then we asked how it happened. Then, he told when he get a call from a Mobitel number, sometimes he hear the sounds in the other side before answering the phone and while ringing the phone with the ring-tone.

Then we wanted to test it. I made a call to friends dialog number and I waled some distance, and made talked something while ringing the phone. Then we tried it other side. Both times we heard what other people say while ringing the phone.

Then , after coming home, I tested it with my mothers phone, but I didn't heard anything from other-side. What's the reason to work it only with some numbers and not to work with other numbers? But I can talk with my friend without answering the phone.

how to read unicode fonts in opera mini.

most people use their mobile phone to access the internet. most of them prefer opera mini instead of inbuilt browser which comes with phone.
but when we read any page which written in unicode fonts, we'll see black squares instead of unicode fonts other than normal fonts.
operaMINI solved the problem now.
simply type about:config in address bar and select 'yes' in 'use bitmap fonts for complex scripts' and save it.

twitter helped me to identify new friends and bloggers.

before i get an invitation to twitter from litefmsrilanka i didnt know what is twitter and the use of it. but now i know there are several people in srilanka , who are blogging in many languages and help each other if wanted a help. i know now i could get many news and help from following in twitter. last week there was a dos attack and created many problems to twitter. now its okey. hope twitter willnot face such an attack.

photographs and studios in sri lanka.

i had to get 6passport sized photographs for my class application. so, i went to gelioya town to get my photos because its the nearest town to my home.so i asked frm the girl who was in the studio to get photos. she told me i could get printed photos on thursday. hehe. it gets 7days to print my photos. there r several places to print photos on1hour. then went 2another place and he told me i could get photos on monday.

when we want something , we enter to a shop and ask what we want. but salesman try to sell what we dont want by neglecting what we want.
is it marketting?
then why we pay for it if we select what we never want and dont like to use.
they controls the market by selling what they could get more profit. they never think about the quality of the items and what is the request of the customer. Y V CUDNT BUY AMD , instead of INTEL if WE PAY FOR IT?
